We've also been to Salisbury Beach State Park, MA, Wompatuck St Pk, MA, Green Lakes State Park, Ma, as well as some other local NYS campgrounds such as Luzerne Campgound and Moreau Lake State Park while we were working. We absolutely love it!! The lightness not only is good for towing with our 4 cyl Camry, it's very helpful in moving it around when you get to the campsite to determine your views, etc. We were fine that night with two 1500 w heaters. We have used it as often as we can including a trip to Disneyworld from upstate NY last January, stopping in Myrtle Beach State Park on the way home ( BTW they have snowbird specials during the winter) where it was 17 degrees F the morning of our departure. We also bought two folding bikes because it was too much of a pain to take the wheel off our regular bikes each camping trip. We then reinstalled the A/C (which worked great on a hot Ohio day that August) have included a refrigerator, coffee maker, often a toaster/oven(and a folding table). By removing the A/C temporarily and without the seats and table, it weighed 960 pounds when I got it registered. We removed the seats and table (we are interested in selling them) and the metal divider that was the half wall/back of the seats. We bought our 2007 10.0 /Quicksilver in August of 2008. You can’t get the full experience setting up in the driveway.I posted this back in Oct about LIVIN LIGHT POPUP This trip was just meant for testing things out and working out whatever bugs we had. We took it out last week for a quick two-night trip to the Kern River. ![]() Plenty of cabinet space and storage areas. ![]() Sink that runs off campsite hookups or your own water source.2 queen beds, dinette transforms into full bed, plenty of space.Offroad package with large all terrain tires, 3″ lift, and a beefier axle.Propane stove inside (just to be used for boiling water on rainy days).Has propane furnace/heater that uses electricity for the fan blower. We call her Ladybug, and here are a few features that we’re excited about: The advantage of these campers is they are made of an aluminum frame so there is no wood to rot and they fold out like a boat awning rather than having a heavy lift mechanism in standard popup trailers (more prone to breaking). Livin Lite Quicksilver 10.0 for our family of four Meet Ladybug, our new-to-us popup camper! Tent camping is great, but sometimes becomes a chore for our family of four plus dog! This camper should allow us to camp longer and in colder weather. ![]() As I mentioned in my previous post “ I really want a Livin’ Lite Quicksilver Pop Up Tent Camper” we wanted something lightweight, simple, strong, and spacious. ![]() Well worth the trip and we’re excited to get our family off the ground. I had to drive 7 hours each way to buy it and what an adventure that was. It even has surge breaks and came with the awning brand new!īonus! Every Livin’ Lite Quicksilver owner should own this button snap tool: Top-Snapper Canvas Snap Tool After spending about 3-4 months searching for a pop up camper we finally found what we were looking for and it checked all the boxes! We bought a Livin Lite Quicksilver 10.0 with offroad package, LP propane furnace/stove, and rear cargo platform.
